A Soldier On the Battlefield

A soldier lies on the battlefield,
He hopes help will soon come his way,
The soldier's cries for help are silenced by gunshots to a whisper.
He feels the cold wet dirt on his face as he lies on the blasting sniper
and bomb infested battlefield,
As the gunshots and snipers blast,
The soldier's eyes slowly close forever and ever,
For Ever and ever....
